Frequently Asked Questions:
Will this group help select the best career for me? Although you will be led to do the inner work through a system, career coaching is not about providing you with the answers to questions like, “Is this the best career for me.” Through our work, your goal is to discover the answers that are already within you. Through your own work, you will begin to see patterns that will lead you in the right direction and you will always be supported and encouraged to seek more information on those areas that reflect your prioritized areas of interest or your passions. I will always encourage you to listen to what this information is telling you, but again, I will not tell you if I think it is the “best” route to take as that would be a disservice to you and could prevent you from following your own path.
Will there be assignments? There will be weekly assignments that will require 1-3 hours per week outside of our sessions unless otherwise assigned. Of course, you will want to put the most time into this work as possible to derive the most benefit. Part of the gift of career coaching is to help you stay accountable to your own process. The good news is that it is FUN because it is all about you, and you will see progress and results along the way if you stay

What about career coaching? Career coaching following this program is an option. I am happy to explore this with you after the program.
Are you an ADHD Coach? No. I am a career coach and counseling professional who was diagnosed with ADHD in 2010. My expertise is in guiding you through the process designed to help you develop clarity and excitement regarding your next career direction. If you are diagnosed or suspect that you have ADHD, it is virtually impossible to work over the long haul in a job that you are not happy with. I have an intimate understanding of how ADD/ADHD works in our lives and can help you navigate your career goals with this understanding. I might recommend to some of you that you seek assistance from a certified ADHD Coach or from a mental health professional who specializes in ADD/ADHD in addition to our work together and can provide a few solid resources to help you find the right person at the point where you are on your way toward your new direction. ADHD Coaching can also help you maintain your new position from this new perspective.
