Are you not sure about the direction to take in your life's work?

Are you in a job that does not fit your strengths and interests?

Imagine going to work each day and actually looking forward to it.

Taking the time to align your passion and strengths to your work,
leads to more fulfillment in your life.

But you may wonder, where to start?

Introducing our new ADHD Career Pathfinder Program

The ADHD Career Pathfinder Program is a coaching program designed for adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) seeking a career path. If you are unsure about your ideal career or which occupation might be a good fit for you, I can help you gain clarity about your options. Finding a career that fits with your personal style takes time. It is a step-by-step process that begins with knowing who you are, what strengths and skills you have, what is important to you personally and at work, and what your personal vision is for your future.  When you work in a field that aligns with your interests, personality, skills and values, you will be more productive and feel a greater sense of satisfaction at work.

This program guides you through the ten critical steps of career exploration and development.

10 Critical Steps to Career Exploration & Development

#1 - Defining your personal purpose. We explore what energizes you and brings you joy.

#2 - Understand Your Career Interests & Motivators: Identify the types of job activities that interest you.  People who work in fields that inspire them are more satisfied and productive in their jobs. Explore your passions and what motivates you.   We will work together to identify your interests through an occupational interest assessment, checklists and dialogue in our coaching sessions.

#3 - Explore Creative Options: Identify occupations in a variety of industries that may interest you.  You will have opportunities to explore occupations online between sessions.

#4 - Discover Strengths, Skills & Accomplishments: Get clear on your unique strengths and talents. Complete self-assessments to identify your mental, Interpersonal, technical and physical skills.  Each of us possesses skills that can often be transferrable to various occupations.

#5 - Identify Your Personal Style:  A personality profile is used to learn about your strengths and personal preferences.  It will also help you figure out the types of occupations that fit with your work style.

#6 - Hone in on your Values: We will explore your work and personal values. What things do you value in the workplace? What types of things do you want to derive from work?  What job qualities and lifestyle choices are most important to you?

#7 - Envision your ideal Work Environment: I will ask questions to learn about your ideal job and environmental preferences.  We will examine what workplace qualities are most important to you to be effective and productive on the job?

#8 - Find the right Work/Life Balance: Identify your core and work values.  Decide how you want to spend your time balancing work, social and family life.

#9 - Embrace the Obstacles and Challenges: Address your challenges and negative beliefs. Discover strategies to overcome obstacles and take the steps to lead with your strengths.

#10- Kick start your Personal Development Plan: SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), Top 2-3 Identified Occupations, and Career SMART Goals.
